Cloth-textured cover of a commemorative photo volume on a veteran Angang…

老冶金人纪念画册封面(墨笔港城图案)
c. 2000s–2010s (volume); career spans c. 1970s–2000s

Description

Cloth-textured hardcover of a privately compiled commemorative photo volume tracing the career of a veteran Angang metallurgist (name withheld per archive policy). A sweeping ink-brush stroke frames faded images of harbor cranes, civic buildings and plant structures, with the title in blue running calligraphy and a small red seal.

Significance to the comparison

Self-made memory work: a steel family compiling a career into a book. It shows how Angang lives are curated and remembered privately, parallel to what this public archive does.

Photographed during the July 2026 Anshan field interview (see OHS-AS-127); the volume was shown at the interview. Original held by the family.
