1980s safety-album page

Description
Page of a 1980s Angang safety-work photo album, each photograph mounted with a typed caption strip; from a private family collection. This page: a man in a yellow hard hat reaches to the green board of the Angang Machinery Manufacturing Plant (鞍钢机械制[造厂], AN GANG JI XIE ZHI...) headed 警钟长鸣事故为零 ('Let the alarm bell ring long — zero accidents'), its tiles showing 1985年7月 and 182天为0 ('182 days at zero'). The caption explains the director-pulls-the-tag system (厂长拔牌制): the director's first act on arriving each day was to pull the safety-information tag.
