Embossed cloth hardcover of the Angang Yearbook 1992 (鞍钢年鉴), the company's bound annual: four large gold-stamped characters over a red band with '1992', published by the People's Publishing House (人民出版社). Companion volume to the 1985 yearbook already in the archive (ART-AS-120).

Significance to the comparison

Everyday material evidence of working life at Angang (Anshan Iron & Steel), contributed from a family collection. Objects like this are the physical trace of the danwei world the oral histories describe.
